Re: Braided Steel Brake Hoses?
So in general, when shopping around for SS braided brake lines, do you look for Cobra ones or what? I know the calipers are the same as the Cobra, but wasn't sure about the brake lines, especially...

Re: X-Pipe leak?
I'll check that, but mine seems pretty tight-- need to make sure though, thanks for the info.

Re: smoking when mach is turned on
There's a stock hard line running from the driver's side head back into the side of the intake manifold. You just remove that and replace it with some sturdy 3/8" line and some fittings to connect...

Re: smoking when mach is turned on
I agree with B's Azure that a catch can will help if it happens again. Mine did it maybe 1-2 times a month but it hasn't happened at all since I put on the catch can. It's just an oil separator for...

Re: need advice for an auto Mach1
Don't know yet-- I'm back to stock on the tune for now. Even when I had the SCT tune in the car it wasn't as smooth as with the tune taken out. I may try BBR- will let you know. Everyone around here...

Re: need advice for an auto Mach1
Drove to work this morning with the Predator tune taken out-- shifts much smoother. Not perfect, but a LOT better.
I did have a TransGo shift kit sitting in a box in my garage and the shop...

Re: need advice for an auto Mach1
I have an A/T Mach, and had purchased an xCal2 for it a couple of years ago. Played with the line pressures a little and the shift points. A brand new Predator fell into my lap for free, so since...

Do you have a pic of exactly what needs to be replaced here? I'm still considering the GT pump and want to make sure I do this right.

The main wiring harness that goes to all the rear gear-- can you pull it out easily? I couldn't find the "beginning" of it after I removed the amp/speaker enclosure thing but I didn't want to tear...
