you'll need to coat those yourself.. that black paint is going to peel off and smell like ***** once its fired up.

you can always get COMP 106100's. I think that's what I'm going to get for my rebuild or you can always have custom camshafts made.

White normally does indicate water/oil mixture, but who knows? These engines do smoke during start ups.. I had black during a start up, blue, and white.. hopefully i wont have any of that after my...

been trying to find a site that sells valve springs and camshafts.. i know about lethal performance, anyone else recommend a site? Will the stock retainers work fine with the valve springs?

That's not a bad idea depending on my budget because I still have the bottom end to worry about.

What's a good set of piston rings and bearings to purchase?
I think I'm going to keep the stock...

get rid of the stock clutch fork and put something else like lakewood..I heard that fork feels great, but makes the clutch a bit stiffer, ford racing TOB & pilot bearing, new clutch cable, firewall...

Thank you for the write-up. That's a legit setup.
Yes I did drive it around and check for leaks. I notice a head tick near that area and it's gotten a bit worse. This is a 03 model

I want to say that's a throw out bearing issue. I remember when mine did the same (still sorta does) it ended up being a dry bashed up throw out bearing. I know its brand new, but take off the cover...

OK took the spark plugs off cylinder #8 and this is what it looks like, no moisture on the COPS. Keep in mind these COPS and spark plugs have about 2k miles max. NOW, the trippy part is about 2 days...

The clutch will always feel useless when it's brand new.. the pedal will stiffen up within 300-500 miles. Does that metal sound go away when you press down on the pedal?

Thanks, Ill check it out when i take apart the cops/spark plugs later on today. I did use some lube on the cops which help keep moisture out, but I'm sure some could still get In.

I replaced my ignition coils 3x already within a 2 year range and I'm still having misfire issues. They seem to work fine for a few months only.

Thank you. The only thing i could think of similar to my issue is Ignition system. But I will record a video and post it back up asap because the engine sounds pretty dirty from the exhaust tone.
