+1. The stock valve guides in our cars are JUNK. I had the tick, Dealer replaced drvrs side cyl head, Tick is back AGAIN.

I've tried nine ways to sunday to make a "Decent" sounding clip but can't seem to do it. Shame to cause I got the complete SLP system and I know that it'd help some people decide.

You should be able to grab second gear w/out breaking tailshafts. I'd check into the motor mount movement a little more. May help to point you in the right direction. $.02
