I have read about plenty of people having many problems with them. After all that I've seen, I would not do business with them. Sorry I don't have links to any threads.

I'd go with VT anyways, since they are only one hour drive away

Re: Rods and Pistons question???

the stock innards will be ok.....for a while at least so long as you stay conservative
the stock pieces are junk I am planning on getting forged parts for my mach 1..eventually but for now I will just stay with the stock stuff with the Vortech. Scott

The site I posted was just from an MM/FF advertisment I saw in this months issue- does anyone have a recommendation of a place to pick up a set of forged rods and pistons????

thanks....
I'm was in the same boat as you for awhile. My P1-SC 8# kit is still sitting in the corner, Mostly due to winter, But I also debated upgrading the short block. I finally decided that I'm gonna throw the S/C on with conservative boost & tune and let 'er eat. Meanwhile, I'm gonna pick up a Teksid block and build it as time & money allow.
