If you go rai on the intake, most companies (or JLT at least) makes a heatshield that ties in the shaker hook up to go near the filter so you can continue utilizing the shakers functionality...

Dont think so, only thing id do is, and i may be wrong, but recalibrate the speedometer for the different rear end gears, but since the old gears are the same as what your replacing you should be...
