Spacers on the front?

Im wondering what size spacer on the fron would get the stock 8inch wheels to be flush with the fender like 9inch wheels are.

Any ideas or anyone already doing this??

Re: Spacers on the front?

I could take some measurements if I put my 17x8's back on this weekend for a driving school that I'm attending, but I'm probably just going to keep the 18x9's on.

I'm not sure if anyone makes an 8" rim with the correct bolt pattern, but less positive offset, but I think that would accomplish the look you're going for. I'm actually not positive what the offset is on the factory 17x8's. I have bullitts, but I'd guess they're the same.

As for a spacer.... I'm guessing that about 1/2" would get you out far enough, but I wouldn't recommend that with the stock studs. I don't think you'll have enough threads left to safely mount the wheels.

Personally, I just went with some good looking 18x9's and I'm happy! :PIMP:

Re: Spacers on the front?

Would a 1/2" spacer allow someone to get at least 6 full turned threads on the lugs using factory length studs???

Sry to hijack...

Not at all, it was my next question.

Mach wheels have the indents on the back, I dont know if that would allow for a 1/2inch hubcentric but I know it helped a little when putting the 1 inch spacers on the rear. Come to think of it...I dunno if anyone makes a 1/2inch hubcentric.
