Angry Blue 4.6 Fender Emblem is fading

I put the blue 4.6 high performance fender emblems on a year ago and they look like crap now. They get oxidized blotches as soon as the car gets wet. I have to wax them to get them looking somewhat...

Just a quick follow up. The new cap resolved my overheating/leak problem and there was no more air in the system when I checked it.

Re: Ticking when cold - Piston Slap, Tick or ???

Re: ugly dealer decals!!!

I had a dealer sticker on mine. It peeled right off the day after I bought it. I used some Goo Gone to remove the left over adhesive. Like I want to drive around with a car dealers name plastered...

Re: Need help with a bad overheating issue.

I don't know if this thread gave me bad karma or something but my car overheated and shutdown on the way home last night and stranded me. :Flame: The "analog" gauge never even moved. This morning I...

Re: Need help with a bad overheating issue.

I went through an overheating issue that took a long time and 6 trips to the dealer to resolve. I eventually found a slow leak that only happened when the engine cooled at night. It didn’t leak a...

Unhappy Oil Pressure Guage - Going Bananas

I few months ago I notice my oil pressure gauge (dash idiot light) was reading nothing and after a mile or so I popped up to the normal reading and as the engine warmed up the gauge went back and...

Re: umm.. Official you just cleaned your mach thread!

I'm in Lansbrook. I'll keep an eye out for ya. My only mods are 4.6 emblems and an 8 inch antenna. One day I might do something crazy like put exhausts on it. :3amin:

Re: best budget tire

BFGoodrich g-Force Sport

I put these on and they have better traction than the Goodyears. They still will spin on the 1-2 shift but not nearly as bad. I might need to try out those Nittos...

Re: what wax??

A machine buffer will do the best job on swirls and scratches. But if you want to try something by hand you can use Meguirs ScratchX, it will take out some of the lighter swirls. Follow up with a...

Re: Hardwater Deposits!!

Go with the vinegar first. Then try Megiuars ScratchX. I parked my car at a freinds house to go fishing. His sprinkler hit my car with hard water then it baked in the sun all day. :Flame: Anyway I...

Re: DOHC vs. OHV

In the 5.0 at about 3,000 rpm the torque would start to fall off. At the same rpm in the Mach the fun is just getting started.

Re: Traction Control ?

The only time I leave it on is if it's raining. Even so, if I get on it, it will start getting way sideways before correcting itself, I always have to lift off. I mean what the heck is the use. I...

Re: Kinda scary...

My 88 5.0 was deadly around corners. That thing would get sideways if I breathed on the throttle. With the Mach I am amazed how much throttle I can give it without getting sideways, guess my 5.0...

Re: How hot does your Mach get?

The coolant was leaking from around the oil filter (dripping off of it). A slow leak, that only dripped when the engine cooled down. The dealer replaced a gasket that they said was for the oil...
