Has anyone changed their gears to 4.10 or 4.30's w/o changing their axles? If so, have you had any problems yet? Just wondering casue this might be a lot more expensive than I had originally thought....

I've heard that 4.10's make more noise than 4.30 gears, but that may be certain people, but do you guys notice that much of a difference from stock and in your quarter mile times? :yes:

How much of a difference are our stock gears compared to the 4.10's and 4.30's. And how much do 31 spline axles cost? :yes:

I am going to purchase a set of gears for my car and I was wondering what would be good for a daily driver and performance. I don't care too much for the gas mileage, but I would also want to know...

LOL, you are totally right and that is exactly what I did when I got pulled over and had to go to a state referee and get my car inspected. That is just too funny dude! :yeh:

Thanks for the info. guys because I had an o/r bassani x-pipe and I got pulled over and got a fix it ticket and I ended up putting my stock h-pipe back on. The reason I ask about the emissions is...

Here are some pics of the x pipe, it was on for about 6000mi. This is still in excellent condition and was not cut out, but bolted on.

As far as the loudness with the mac catback it was kind of loud and it had that raspy race car sound to it. Definitely attracts a lot of attention and sound intimidating. :yes:
