Looks like a pain in the *** to install and deal with if it leaks. No room behind the heads!

Re: No Head Cooling Mod says Al Papitto ?
And you'd be honest. Salesmen can't be totally honest much and maximize sales. :eyebrows:
Wouldn't the coolant mod help by cooling cylinders 7 and 8 therefore allowing more timing and more hp?

Re: Tranny slips at the top of 2nd at wot and shifts all over the place
I drove an '02 GT today and it slipped at the same rpm in the same gear! Must be a worn out tranny issue. This thing was bone stock all the way to the silencer.

Re: Tranny slips at the top of 2nd at wot and shifts all over the place
I have a custom tune in there by a very reputable shop in my area with the Diablo programmer. Both he and my tranny guy said I need a new tranny to fix these issues. Did yours slip at the top of...

Re: Tranny slips at the top of 2nd at wot and shifts all over the place
It's a good shift from 1st to 2nd, then at the top of 2nd from 5300-5800 rpm it will slip then a good shift to 3rd. This is at wot. It is fine at less than wot.

Re: Tranny slips at the top of 2nd at wot and shifts all over the place
I did a complete tranny service 2x then added no slip stuff and nothing helped. So it sounds like a tranny rebuild is in order? I'll post the fix once I find it. I may keep driving the car 'til...

Re: Noobie Question
I'm looking to sell mine after I find another racer. It has 80K miles on it, good condition, runs great but tranny shifts from 5300-6200 from 1st to 2nd and it barely slips at the top of 2nd.

Re: Noobie Question
Tall, wide slicks on 15" rims! Will kill some gearing and give you some slop for traction. Then you'll start breaking stuff with hard, high rpm launches.

Re: Noobie Question
The problem with treating things right is you don't maximize ets at the track. Life is primarily a series of compromises. How much $ do you have, how fast do you want to go?
