M5=manual 5speed
M6=Manual 6speed
A4=automatic 4speed
G'D it=commonly said when LS1 owner sees my brake lights..
"stock"=anything outside of the motor as described by LS1 owners LOL
MACH1=the speed at which an Fbody has traction LOL

The c-5 is a 5 speed transmission I believe. fbody is just a body style. I *think* it was from 79 - 91 and then ford went to the SN-95 body style. I'm sure somebody here knows the correct dates.

LT1- engine in the early 90's Vettes and F-bodies. Iron blocks w/ reverse cooling (cooling the heads before the cylinders).

LS1- Aluminum blocks replacing the LT1s.

LS6- Updated version of the LS1 replacing it in Vettes, and the new GTO.

GTP- Supercharged Grand Prix

WS6- Ram Air package in the Trans Ams

SS- Super sport versions of Camaros

(Can anyone tell that I used to be a GM guy? )

C5 is the current generation of Corvette, a T-5 is a Borg Warner 5 speed transmission.

BTW, I believe that IMHO is In My Humble Opinion.

Ahhh. I always get the fbody/foxbody thing mixed up. And I think I am thinking of the old C4/C6 tranny.

Umm the new GTO has an LS1 not LS6, but the so called judge may have an LS6. Those GTOS with a few toys aint a joke, I saw of a vid of one with a 100 shot, converter, and tires go mid 11s.
