Custom Shaker - Opinions?
My brother put this together for me. I have been rolling with a chrome shaker on my TR Mach with matching chrome Bullitts for a couple years. I will put this one on for a bit to see how I like it. Regardless...it is a pretty sweet piece!
The paint is titanium metalflake and all of the sand cast has been knocked down. A guy he knows did the CobraJet transfer off of an image I provided of a CobraJet shaker emblem. The whole thing is coated in dupont clear. Whatcha think?

Re: Custom Shaker - Opinions?
I would think it would look better on a DSG.

Re: Custom Shaker - Opinions?
That IS badass! Color matched with the black between the shaker fins seems to be the way to go. I may hafta check into it. Anymore details on the CobraJet image and what was done?

Re: Custom Shaker - Opinions?
I've always been neutral on the Cobra Jet badging, but that is by far the best looking Shaker I've seen. That looks great.

Re: Custom Shaker - Opinions?
I completely agree...but the titanium might clash a bit since it is simply another shade of gray. The best color combo IMO would be on a black Mach.

Re: Custom Shaker - Opinions?
The picture I took was loaded in a CAD program. I wasn't there when he did it but I would imagine he pulled out the color and created a line art image or a DWG file from the outline. The transfer came out about 15-20% larger than an actual CJ emblem.

You would have to have the patience of a saint. This was a side project that got out of control. Two years later...

Re: Custom Shaker - Opinions?
I think it looks great. I think it would look fantastic on a dsg car with matching stripes. They do the silver stripes on the grey gt500 and that looks sharp so I would think this would be pretty slick too.

Re: Custom Shaker - Opinions?
I would seriously pay for a black one with red fins, done just like that.
That is ONE AWESOME PIECE of work.

Thanks everyone! I'll pass on the compliments to my brother. He definitely deserves some recognition after all the work that went into it.
