Member number snob
I had a bit of an issue on another board (several weeks ago) and today had an email from someone that claimed I was out of place for suggesting a "senior member" was incorrect. This was interesting to me because this member just posted a typo. All I had done was pointed out that error and the member in question thanked me for it, he simply had some numbers transposed.
The email was from an "early/charter" member that said my post count was not high enough for me to be correcting the "senior members". What azzclown didn't know is that although my post count is low, I had been a member before either of them. When I pointed this out he said it was probably just a mistake with my join date. I sent Azzclown the instructions for finding what "member number" you are. I already knew I had a 3 digit number, his is four digits. Why are some people so snobbish.

Re: Member number snob
Oh, if you care, all you have to do is hover the cursor over your username or avatar and read it from the status bar at the bottom of the page. You have to have status bar selected.
It will do the same for other members too. There are no advantages to having a lower or higher number. It's not like lego rating which means something.

True. Haha, I don't have the brains to shut-up. This whole thing is follow on BS from a run in with the same MOD. I don't go there much and I think he wants me to do something to get banned. He for some reason hates me. Most people have to meet me and get to know me well before they hate me.

Re: Member number snob
That's all well and good as long as you keep in mind that 2240 > 3370.

Re: Member number snob
Not to worry, you have POWER over 7985 and above.
It's sad that I actually found someone on the interthingy that is certain these meaningless numbers mean something. I fear he is not alone.
