What paint to use to repaint shaker? - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

Well my shaker I just bought is a little ruff not to bad but just wondering what paint you guys use to repaint it?

No paint, usually use Back to Black..

I roughed mine up with a Scotchbrite pad and shot it with 4 thin coats of Rusloleum Satin Black.That was a couple of years ago and it still looks great.

Send it out and have it powder coated and never , ever worry about it again .

The local Harley shop had it the last time I was in there.

When I bought it, I ordered the travel kit from www.pigspit.com

Krylon flat black paint...

Pictures are with the Krylon paint, the picture with it mounted on the car just has some dusty finger prints...

Hi, use the Krylon Semi-Flat paint. It looks perfect.

Don't paint it, just give her a really good cleaning/scrubbing with a good degreaser.

Pig spit will work good too.

+1 This is what I do. I usually take my shaker assembly appart and clean everything inside and out. Let the shaker set in armoral overnight and wipe it down and reassemble everything. I just touch it up every other week because I'm a little picky.

i scrub mine with a brush when i wash my car and then use mother's Back to Black and it looks like new after
