Re: UFC 92, Tonight!!!

I say Mir shows us his old self again and upsets Nogueira. Forrest will get his *** beat the first round, then go into crazy mode and KO Evans in round 2. Rampage doesn't stand a chance. I am interested to see Matt Hamil's fight, I hope they air it.

Re: UFC 92, Tonight!!!

I think Big Nog will destory Mir. Nog is way better than Mir in stand up or ground fighting. As for Forrest, i think Rashad will maybe even KO Forrest. But Forrest still has a big chance of winning the fight. Actually Rampage has a huge chance of winning this fight. He was winning his last 2 fights against Silva until he got caught with a punch or knee and than Silva won. But i know Rampage has been trying SUPER hard in all aspects to win this fight. I'm pretty sure Rampage will win this fight unless Silva just KO's him off the bat.

Even some of the under card is pretty interesting. I hope it will be like the last UFC. Knock out after knock out and submission after submissoin so we can see ALL the fights including prelims! Just like the last UFC!

Everyone fighting tonight is a great fighter and a class act, so I won't be disappointed no matter who wins... oh and the beer is already flowing here as well!

I disagree, Rashad is NOT a class act. He's an arrogant prick of a fighter and I hope he gets monkey stomped by Forest.

I also say that Mir beats Nog, and that Silva destroys Jackson

I don't know man, I just watched their 2 previous fights and Silva was puttin it down on Rampage the 1st fight. The 2nd, Rampage definitely had the first round, but Silva came out strong the 2nd even after Rampage gave him all he had in the 1st, which shows a lot for Silva and not much for Rampage. Then Silva proceeded to work him like he did the first fight. Silva is only 1-3 his past 4 fights though...

He treats his opponents with complete disrespect and is just all around arrogant. I can't stand him, never have been able to. Is he a good fighter, no doubt about it. You don't stay undefeated by being lucky all the time, but he defiantly got lucky against Chuck cause he dropped his left arm and got caught. Like I said, I hope he gets his *** handed to him, cause I don't think he deserves to be the champ

Re: UFC 92, Tonight!!!

Well interesting night. I was pulling hard for Forest since he's from GA and UGA graduate(Go Dawgs), but I kind of figured Evans would get him. I don't like Evans but he is a hell of a fighter.
Rampage looked really good tonight and Mir def. put some time into training for this fight.

Re: UFC 92, Tonight!!!

Cant believe Nog got knocked out, first time in his career. Mir was smart to keep the fight standing. Mir may be a black belt in bjj, but he is not on the same level as Nog on the ground. Wand is not the same fighter as he was in his pride days. He def did not look the same vs Rampage last night. Im in the minority but Im glad forrest got his azz kicked last night. Cant wait for the Affliction Fights next month. That is going to be a great fight card FEDOR vs ARLOVSKI!!!!!

Re: UFC 92, Tonight!!!

Really strong card and some good fights to boot. Good way to end the year for UFC!
Some good crap talking to Brook at the end of Mir's fight. Should be some good hype but not sure on the outcome! Brook it a big man for Mir to box with. We'll see!

Can't wait for the Affliction fight with FEDOR vs ARLOVSKI as well! My kid says that Fedor is going to hand it to Arloviski but I think different!

Re: UFC 92, Tonight!!!

I called the Rampage and Evan's pick's though. I got 9-10 pick's right for this UFC. Big Nog let me down or else i would of went 10 for 10... lol

I put acouple clips of the Silva Vrs Rampage knock on here ... http://teamscm.net/forums/YaBB.pl?num=1229880193/6#6 .. Also has the ending of the 2nd fight between Rampage and Silva...

Affliction is going to be pretty good too. Couple good fights on the main card. But I'm looking forward more to Dream's (in japan) fight card for Dec. 31st. Eddie Alvarez is sick!!

Fight card...

Re: UFC 92, Tonight!!!

Love watching the Dream and K1 events on HDNET and the weekly talk show with Bas Rutten. Would like to see a rematch of Overeem and Cro Cop. Overeem has looked like a BEAST lately. Arlovski looks much better now, hope he can give Fedor a fight but not sure if he can hang with Fedors ground game.

Re: UFC 92, Tonight!!!

I used to be the biggest Cro Cop fan. But Cro Cop's heart isnt in fighting any more. Ever since he got his Open Weight Grand Prix belt. His heart hasn't been in it. Hopefully he has a semi good showing against Choi.
I saw articles were he says he is actually going to try to KO Choi with a his famous left high kick to the head.....

Re: UFC 92, Tonight!!!

I was pretty dissapointed about Forest going out. I figured once he got knocked down he would recover and we would get to see some of his ground game.

Gotta give it up to Mir. He looked excellent! Had great conditioning, usually he is gassing by the 2nd round. And his boxing was perfect. I think he beat Nog because he fought smarter. He didn't let emotions and adrenaline get the best of him when he got Nog on the ground, he let him stand back up where he knew he was winning the fight.

Who was that guy who fought Rampage? Silva seems washed up. He hasn't looked the same for a couple years now.
