New (to Me) Mach 1
Hey everyone. After a couple of weeks of working out the deal I finally picked up a Mach 1 last night. It is black 03 with 30k miles. The mods already complete are: Borla Exhaust, Roush shifter, K&N Intake, Camber Plates and some othe suspension mods, 17X9 front wheels with 275/40/17 and 17/10 rears with 315/35/17's. I have only driven to work and out the DMV and back this morning. So far I really think that I am going to dig this car. The best part of the deal is that I picked her up for 12k. That was too good of a deal for me to pass up.

Let me see if this will allow me to post. After my first post I was not able to send anything else yesterday.
I don't have any pics yet that I can get to fit. Here is the listing of the car when it was for sale on this forum last week. BTW- I did do a CARFAX and the car is clean and was a two owner car. The guy who had it before me and unfortunatly passed away within a year of cancer. Well I had the oil changed in Mach this afternoon and had a look under the car while it was up on the lift. So add one more mod to the car. She has a mid-pipe in addition to the Borla.
The one negatives I have noticed on the car is that twice now when I start the car it lets out a little cloud of smoke. The second minor problem is that it looks like it may have a leak at the oil cooler. The leak is no big deal but the smoke at startup kind of stinks. |
