2003 Azure Blue Mach 1 - For Sell - $13.5k - NC

I hate to part with my baby... but I need to sell her. I am only asking for what I still owe on my loan. I currently owe $13.5k and I'm holding firm on selling her as is at this price.

I am a very honest person and as such I will be very honest about this car.

• The car is currently located in Winston-Salem, NC.
• I am the second owner. Car was purchased through a local credit union. It was traded in by the original owner due to a bad financial situation.
• Currently has 34,418 miles as of this post.
• Miles obtained mostly by occasional driving to/from work (30mile round-trip on the interstate)
• Tires are 315s in the rear and 275s in the front. The tread is low and will need to be replaced soon if you ever want to drive in the rain.
• Wheels are American Racing (see pics) and were installed by the previous owner.
• I have never raced this car or taken it to any kind of track. This is actually much to my dismay as my old 95GT has been on the track far too much.
• Always had service on the car done by a local professional shop in Winston-Salem. They make sure all of my and my family's cars are in perfect mechanical condition.
• Interior is in incredibly good shape. Only defect is a tiny hole on the passenger side door on the plastic near the front speaker (I hope to get pics of this because it really isn't bad... I am incredibly picky and would not have bought the car if it originally bothered me as this was caused by the previous owner).
• Garage kept whenever possible and never purposefully driven in the rain. I moved to downtown Charlotte and only had a parking deck to leave her in, as such I parked her in a family member's garage in Winston and left her there to be cleaned up and sold.
• Only after market part is the exhaust system by Stainless Steel Systems. I found out about these guys from the forums here and love the system. Here is the original post I made about my purchase and the sound clip I recorded long ago when I got the system on the car.

yeah, those wheels for sure need to be disposed of...quickly. Otherwise, a good deal for a car with 34k miles. Hope you sell it soon...but don't forget, those wheels have got to go.

The previous owner put these wheels on the car so I unfortunately do not have the stock wheels to put back on... believe me I wish I did... especially for selling it.

Sorry it is not a family secret or anything. I just have not been able to get on here every evening as anticipated and my work firewall blocks 90% of the internet. In fact, I tried to PM you quickly one morning when I had just a couple of minutes but it says you do not accept PMs. There is a small Texaco in the town of Welcome. I always take my car to the mechanics there as I know all of them. They have been family friends for years and have worked on all of my family's Mustangs (my poor 95 has been through hell and they know it better than anyone). If for any reason they can not do what is needed, they can give you the proper recommendation in the local area. A lot of good people live in that area.

As for the exhaust, the setup has Magnaflow cats, H-pipe, and the SSS cat-back. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. I do not have the car nearby as it is sitting in a family member's garage right now... but I can probably get some interior pictures this weekend if I make it up that way.

Just a quick update...this car is still for sale. I hope to get pictures up of the interior this weekend. I have had a lot of issues with timing and staying in town long enough to think.

This might be a tad long...

As if I didn't feel bad enough for my previous "disappearance"... I have to at least come write this as an open apology to anyone who was interested in buying my car. My previous "vacation" turned more into a job opportunity that kept me completely tied up out of the country for a lot longer than I ever anticipated.

I feel bad and a tad embarrassed at trying to rush a sale and then disappearing... so this is to explain why and hopefully keep some credibility. I'd rather not seem like a sketchy/flaky person (or worse like some scam artist) in case I ever meet with anyone here or need to sell the car (or other parts) in the future on this site.

First - I have to quite simply apologize to all that I was in close contact with in working out a sale. I do appreciate all of the serious inquiries and everyone who was able to communicate quickly as I was in such a rush to sell.

To make a long story short... I was unable to sell my car in time. I found myself in South America much earlier than I anticipated and then returned on an opportunity that I could not pass up. I was in a huge hurry to try and sell my Mach 1 before I left and that is why I came to the registry to try to locate a buyer.

Once I got my offer, I spent 100% of my focus on what I was thrown into (completely forgetting about my car or the sales... and many other things back home) and until now... I have not even revisited the issue of the car.

While gone and in the months since my return, I have been safely capable of making my car payments (this is what I was worried about while gone... a salary in another country makes it tough to pay a car payment back in the States!) and I still have my 03 Mach 1 in storage. She is still in great condition and has only been driven (per my request to the person storing it for me) a couple times a month to keep her running well and a few times by myself since I've been back.

I just got settled into a place in NC (Sherrills Ford) and now currently have no problems keeping the car. If someone does make the right offer... I'd likely take them up on it... but otherwise... I intend to replace the wheels/tires on her and finally enjoy her like I wanted before the attempted fire sale.
