Hot Volume Knob - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

was curious if anyone else with the bullitt radio accesories has had a problem with the volume knob getting so hot you can't hold your finger against it, I had my car out for over an hour a few times and towards the end of the drive i've turned the radio up or down and can barely touch the knob.. any ideas?

i have the billet volume knob also and it does get pretty warm....not so hot that i cant hold my finger against it but does get warm
