Black Emblems - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

Does anyone know where you can buy replacement Mach 1 and Pony Emblems in powdercoated black or painted black? I was thinking of doing it myself, but I've heard bad things about paint sticking to the emblems. I'm eventually trying to go with the all black car...so this would be the first step in the process.

Krylon Fusion Paint FTW

Build up 7-8 thin coats, allowing 5-7 min between coats, let sit in sun for the afternoon, leave it alone for 24 hrs then install. Paint the security screws for the pony emblem too.

I just painted all my ponies and they look great in black. Now I'm trying to find an all black ford badge. A buddy of mine with an 03 GT swears that he saw a badge on the net that was gloss black in place of the silver and flat black in place of the blue. Anyone seen anything like that? My searching is coming up empty.

Cell phone camera doesn't have enough detail to show them. Never really had a reason to buy a digital camera until I bought the Mach....guess I should pick one up.
