Re: Military Mach1s
I'm almost military, US Army civilian.
Or we could count the 24 years of active duty. Tyndall and Eglin are really close, about 87 miles but it could take 2 hours. I'm at Cairns AAF on Fort Rucker and it's about 20 min to Tyndall or 25 to Eglin via air.

Re: Military Mach1s
I did 4 on active duty Feb. 88 to Feb 92 and active reserves until 2000. My wife wouldn't marry me unless I got out. Should have stayed in, because I would have had 20 years this year in February. I was a Navy Corpsman, and loved my Job. Wouldn't trade the experience for anything.

Re: Military Mach1s
I normally hate it when people quote pics, as we see them once, why see them multiple times, but how I LOVE those haze grey floating targets. I so wish I was on one right now. Please, take me!

Re: Military Mach1s
Seven years active AF here (extended a year for Korea). Went Reserve in Feb to get some college time in. Wouldn't trade the experience for anything.
Edit: CCAF degree didn't count for shite, btw. They gave me six whole credits for it, none toward my major.

Well they are called "Mach 1's" not "Boot or Boat 1's" and its difficult to do unless you're really flying, henceforth lies the Air Force connection.

Don't remember him flying for the Navy either. If you're talking Hollywood actors that's different. Boy, you need to chill out, or do you have shaken baby syndrome? Helicopters can cause that in adults too.
