Re: Challenger ordering
Not really sure what to think of it. I will be seeing it in person at the Chicago Auto Show this Tuesday. I will post some follow up after I see it in person. I do think it is pretty lame that it is auto only for the first six months or so. Competition will only make the 2010 Mustang better.

Re: Challenger ordering
All that AND a $2100 gas guzzler tax. YES! I'm getting one tonight! Yeesh....not many options for motors/transmissions, but at least they have a $1000 sunroof option.

Re: Challenger ordering
Too expensive, too heavy, to much of a gas sucker, and no manual tranny. DC is on the skids and this car will not last but a few years. Other than that, I think its a bada$$ ride. Dont forget the ADM's that no doubt will come into play.

Re: Challenger ordering
Weighing in at almost 700 lbs. over a Mustang GT and an open rear. The thrill is gone for me.

I didn't like them back on the day! They do look better this time around?
My son-inlaw is a dealer manager and he said they will be getting 3 in soon, I promised him I would at least take one out for a spin just to make him happy!!! Bill

Re: Challenger ordering
Nice looking cars. Yes they are 700 lb heavier than our machs so they need about 70 RWHP to close the power to weight ratio and I'm sure they make that. I'm not a fan of the auto but some are so it's ok. Just keep in mind about 2 years ago they said the 1st year would be auto only but they'd put a manual tranny in it at a latter date. So stay tuned, I'm not sure how the new owners of the company will excute this plan or if they even do. But all and all I welcome MOPAR back. The 40k price tag seems to be ok, what do you think Ford would charge? This isn't 03/04 even the GT's are costing more than what we paid so inflation is taking it's tow on the MSRP of all of these cars.

Re: Challenger ordering
Pretty much the response i expected and i feel the same way. All it needs is two more doors to go with the specs.
It is a sharp looking car though... imo.
