Re: Any going to Knott's this year
The cruise was put together by ca-mustangs.com. A large majority of the cars in attendance were from Northern California. However, a few of us "locals" got a chance to hangout and cruise with this group. Had a great time, and I plan on participating again. I don't know if they plan on following the same route as last year. I will post or someone will post more specific info as the date approaches for this cruise.

Re: Any going to Knott's this year
I have my registration already and have my room reserved at the Knott's hotel (the Fab Ford's Forever room rate is $99.00 per night by the way). Might be a few of us leaving Sac/Elk Grove fairly early that Friday morning. At this point I don't know if I will hook up with the main group or just head on down. I know for SURE I want to be at the hotel before LA rush hour starts that afternoon.

Re: Any going to Knott's this year
Remember, the rush HOUR here is about 6 hours long. It starts at 2 PM and ends around 8 PM. For an 8 hour drive (no stops other than fuel/needs), I'd leave Sacto around 5 AM or so....4 am to be on the safe side. That's VERY EARLY!! At least you can enjoy the jacuzzi at the hotel.

Awesome! Hey Jose, when you coming down to Savi Ranch again? We had about 35+ stangs last weekend!!! But anyways, yea, Ive been checking out the ca-mustang website. They have the dates and everything up now. I popped on for a little bit to say hi and set some stuff up. Looks like the cruise around OC is on that Saturday before the show... the 19th. Theres a small car show/BBQ at wheel warehouse, then the pack cruises around OC a little bit. Should be fun! Heres some links for more info... http://www.mileofmustangs.com/ http://www.ca-mustangs.com/ |

Re: Any going to Knott's this year
Doug, there's a GTG in Anahiem tomorrow at the Wheel Warehouse - 125 W. La Palma Ave. Anaheim CA, 92801. It's from 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. At 12:30 p.m. the group will start heading out to Pacific Coast Highway, the final destination point of the cruise will be in Dana Point. I'm already set to go, hopefully you can make it.
