Mickey T ET Street 315 35 17 Drag Radial
Today, i received my 315 35 17 Mickey T ET streets from Fed Ex!! I had these same tires on my 97 cobra but they were 275 35 17, which at the time were the largest size made in this tire, unless you went with a 15 inch weld wheel. To my surprise, i was checking the net the other night and saw that Mickey T had a new version of the ET streets for sizes from 295 to 345 18. The tread pattern is slightly different than my original ET streets, but it is only to compensate for the larger size. When i bought my mach it had crappy 315 sumitomo's, which were completely useless in 1st gear, 2nd gear, and would bark 3rd. I can not explain the massive difference these Mickey T's have made!! The car now only spins a little in 1st, and barks 2nd, they have probably taken a half second off a quarter mile time. I have never owned a supercharger or nitrous, but from my experiences i can honestly say that these tires are the best performace upgrade i have done with both my previous cobra and now the mach. If you'r lucky enough for your mach to not be a daily driver then i highly recommend these tires, they are worth the price.
Here is the link to see the new tire. http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/s...ETStreetRadial

one of my best friends just put these on his 03 cobra that is over 700 hp to the tires and loves them for street use. He had Hoosiers DR's on before and these hook up much better.

Has he been to the track with them yet? If so how much more did they take off his 60' compared to the Hoosier DRs? Just curoius, because I'm getting ready to get a set of the Hoosiers or ET Streets.

Meaning the sidewalls are not supportive enough . Yes from a dig they are the bomb ! But not everyone is street racing . Not to mention inclement weather can seriously be hazardous to you and your Mach .

no, he has not run these at the track yet, he is quite leery after wrecking his 04 comp orange at the track . just uses them for street driving.

Re: Mickey T ET Street 315 35 17 Drag Radial
I ordered a set from a local speed shop and they cost me ~$380 ish. I haven't gotten a chance to try them out very much yet though. I encountered some engine troubles the day I got them on!
Just for reference. |
