Re: Installed SLP lm1's

Cool, I have the LM II's on my 2V Mustang, I have a set of the LM1's on the way to try out, pretty cool that you can switch out the muffs real easy...think I will see a huge difference between the two?

Re: Installed SLP lm1's

lol yea. they werent too happy with me after that im sure. but yea. i love them. they sound great! i wish i could put offroad h like swervo has. his sounds awesome. but lm2 and lm1 are way different. lm2's are more like a magnapack, and lm1 is just straight through..

Sound wise I liked mine the most with the LM1's and f/s midpipe. It's just too loud with even a catted aftermarket midpipe for me. Everybody has a different idea of what the ideal sound is so it comes down to personal taste.

I'm not really satisfied with the sound of mine with the MRT O/R H and the slp power-flo's. I keep looking for a "great deal" on a Bassani SS X-pipe but all I see is normal deals.

Re: Installed SLP lm1's

Does anyone have LM1's with catts and headers? I've heard them without catts....... way too obnoxious.

Ive got the lm1's with slp catted x and slp lts. Its bad azz. Not to bad in the car, but outside or riding behind is pretty obnoxious. Stupid to argue over what brand sounds better, its all individual taste.

Re: Installed SLP lm1's

SLP LM 1s sound like poopo compared to flowmasters, and arnt really that loud unless you have an offroad setup, Everyone takes it over the edge by saying they are loud, there not unless your running with no cats, My setup (in my sig) is louder than my friends cobra which just has a SLP LM 1 Catback.

SLP Loudmouths are the "loudest" possible setup while still keeping the stock H.

Re: Installed SLP lm1's

I have been using the LM-1's since they first came out, along with a MRT catted H-pipe, and wouldn't want to change a thing about them.

Re: Installed SLP lm1's

its funny seeing people say which is better.
one thing people need 2 understand, there is always going to be someone that thinks there car sounds better than the next. eather SPL LM1 or Prochamber. or stinger, or whatever, as said above, ITS A PERSONAL TASTE.

suppose it was like this,
IN the news today, SPL LM1's produced the most HP on mach 1's in america as we know it.
think people would buy them and just deal with the noise? NOT ALL, someone would start in about how there system is better, and makes more power.
so at the end of the day, its still a fight, mostly cuase of PERSONAL TASTE.

sorry to rant, on and on, but its getting old to see, the battle of SPL LM1's and every other muffler on the planet.
