The 6th Motor Pull

Well its official . As of this moment its been 6 times that i have pulled this motor . Just cant leave well enough alone . Motor sounds and runs great . But he wants to make another adjustment on degreeing the cams . Only picked up another 50 RWHP . Also wants to set adjustable keyway for the cams . Also opting to a 96-98 timing chain cover so that i may switch to a
3- bolt idler pulley . Broke another idler pulley on the dyno again . 30 lbs of boost is kickn my pulley set-ups azz . That R.R. pulley set-up sure enables you to crank her down but its everything else that suffers .

Let's see... 7 for you and 5 for me. The big difference is your engine pulls were for upgrades and mine were for repairs.

Re: The 6th Motor Pull

Way off topic, but what oil are you high HP people using? I've been using Mobil 1 and I've now spun rod bearings on two occasions so I think a change is needed there for me. Nazman especially what were you using when revving your motor to 8K? I never revved mine past 7, and usually only around 6500.

Need to chk. the valvetrain again and adjust again FUK ME ! Know what im saying . But it has to be absolutely perfect before i take it back
BTW its always easy coming out , the biotch is putting it all back . Then come behind that and tighten everything up . Then after that you have to clean it and wipe it down . Then after that is taking care of the mysterious scratches or dings that show up .
