Bottle fed 5.0 Vs Me - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

well a guy in my unit bought a 5.0 i think a 90 gt to be exact and he is claiming he is going to romp my ***. i had him pop the hood with sure enough to find, a new distributor cap, msd wires, and a NX fogger kit...yea thats it. i looked as hard as i could but the only thing really done to it is headers(with a big exhaust leak) and the above mentioned stuff. this guy is big on bulls***ing. he said on the way back from the auction place he punched it and took the front tires off the ground

i looked to see and found he had some big 245's on back...(sarcasm) he also told me that the prior owner claimed it to be a 10.5 sec car w/o the nitrous. so i obviously know that he surely has no clue what so ever he is talking about with his car. but the question is even if he has a 150hp shot thru a fogger system will he be able to take me? this is probably a dumb question but i kinda want to rub it in his face a little bit.

cliff's : 1990 gt w/ a max of 150hp fogger kit vs. my mach....who would win from a roll or off the line

245's on the back and doing wheelies? My guess is he'll never race you to prove it. I know a guy who doesn't actually own a fox body and swears up and down he owns one that runs 9's on the spray. His best friends even admitted the car does not exist

I say run him at the track and see.

I thinky you should take him.
1. 150shot will put him slightly above a Machs HP range.
2. He sounds like a tool who does not know crap about drag racing and if you are remotely decent at the track, that is where you will beat him.

Could be a drivers race.

i dont even know if he does have a 150 shot. i was just giving him the best possible amount of power from his mod's. also how long can a stock 90 block hold up on a 150 shot?

Though the guy does sound like a real tool.....remember its not just horsepower that you are fighting against but also that fact that he is about 600 pounds lighter than you. Just race him and tell us the outcome.

Sounds like he dont know his *** from a hole in the wall, but a 150 shot would be hard to beat if he was on slicks or DR's. But on street tires, I wouldnt worry at all. My friend has a bone stock 95GT (a bit heavier than a 90) with a 150 shot. He has run a best of ~12.7 on 295 street tires. It gets ragged all the time and it is holding great.

ive seen a p.o.s 91 notch here in utah run 12.2 on a 100 shot.. and our air sucks here so i know hes good for low 11s at sea level.. so as much as i want to say youll win... you never know
