Re: question for bbk long tube owners

mine had a huge dent so thats just how the bbk's come. The biggest down side is if you have to do any tranny work you will either have to losen up your header bolts. Which is a huge pain. I managed to cut the corner off of my bell housing where the extension is put for the clutch cable. will still leaving enough material for the clutch cable. I was able to get it out without lossing bolts but its still a pain.

Re: question for bbk long tube owners

yes the dent is normal. Its to clear the steering shaft. And it barely misses at that. And yes he's right, with bbk's you cannot drop the tranny. I put mine on right after i got my car and nowadays i regret not goin w/ mids or hooker LT's (you CAN drop the trans w/ them)... but oh well, i'll deal w/ it when my clutch finally wears out.
