So last night I was driving from my GF's apt back to my apt and I saw a Stang. I quickly pulled out to catch up to see what kind and who was driving, like any Stanghead usually does. When I finally caught up to it (b/c of slow traffic between me and him), I saw it was a Bullit. Green to be exact. So at the next stop light when we were side by side I rolled down my window to say hello, and nice Bullit, b/c I actually do like the Bullit models. At first the guy was cordial, and he said something like "thanks, nice Mach, I wish I had your horsepower." And then I was like "thanks." But he then went on after I said thanks to say something to the effect of a**hole or some other cussword at me. The the light turned green and he gave me the open hands forward like he was being sarcastic like my car was some kind of Godly car and I should go first, so I did. He then contiued to follow me on down the road a few miles and passed me trying to show off his Bullit like it was the fastest car ever or something. But as we all know, it's not. The point to my story is if you see or know this green Bullit with a tag FAT KID, let him know that he should be more Stang friendly and not say cuss words to other Stangers.

I agree. The Bullitt reg is probably buzzing with the same story from the other side. I wouldn't worry about it. Their is widespread friendliness around here, even the vette and SS/Firebird guys are cool.

Well the tag was definately not one of those tags that had some hidden meaning, due to the fact that he did not look too skinny. May be someone needs to tell him that if he loses weight he car will be faster.............

Okay, but if there was some "misunderstanding" why did he go from "thanks" and "I wish I had your horsepower" to the delayed statement of a cuss word after I thanked him for complimenting my car? I think that he was just being nice to start until he realized that I wasn't in a GT or something b/c it was night time after all, or he was under the influence of something he shouldn't have been, or since my car is faster in stock form it must have really got to him. In the end, I just think he was jealous that I was in the Mach and he wasn't

i also had a chick call me a rich kid.

i went on to explain to her that i was pushing 30 and had ordered the mach while i was overseas serving my country.

then i called her a stupid ***** and drove off.

man i was pissed off.

so i guess it all evens out

a quick way to disprove the "rich kid " title is to show them your unmanacured hands with all their callus'

Oh, heck yeah!!!

I don't think I've really ever been hated on when I'm out in the Mach, but I do have the nagging feeling that people aren't real nice to me. I think some people feel threatened by the car. On the opposite side of that I did have a couple of too young girls try to pull me over when I was in the Mach. They were teens, and I'm 36, so I just shook my head at them. Oh well.

I have a buddy here in Tulsa with a bullitt, but he's cool. His dad has a red Mach....and he doesn't have "fat kid" plates. He's the only one I know of here with a bullitt, but I'm sure there's others. That's too bad...most 'stangers I run across give me a thumbs up, but there's always a few.....

I agree 100%. I got the ole cold shoulder from a Cobra last night. Just wanted to gab a bit while at the light at 91st and Mem. He pulled into the right turn lane and hit it hard through the intersection and around cars in line. Then he hits his brakes hard and pulls into the Conoco station on the SW corner. What a jerk, but he showed me he had more than I did cause he was [SIZE=5]"S.C. COBRA"[/SIZE] or so the strip on the door said.

You lucky dog! I've only had one chick flash her boobs and as it turned out I already knew her and she did it passing me at the speed of heat.
