What is a Mustang SDS - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

I saw a Ford commercial on TV the other night for a limited run of 200 cars. I could not tell if it was an 05 or 06. Is this a V8 or was this a way to clear their lots of V6's? It had the 2 strips down the middle of car, which I see on a lot of 05's. I think it had special rims, but don't know. Has anyone else heard about a Mustang SDS?

Ya never know, maybe the dealer made a few good tuner Stangs. It has happened ya know, Yenko did it in the 60's, the YSC Camaro, which btw will put the hurt on virtually anything.

Let's not forget that the original Mach was dealer made (Bob Tasca, here in Rhode Island). Don't be so quick to write them off.

STUPID DORK SALESMAN

I freakin hate when dealers make their own "special editions". If you are from or grew up around the Hudson Valley of NY, you remember the Chevrolet Cavalier and some other pos Chevy model "Thunders".

Then 5 years later you run into some moron and how his car is so special, its like man " you bought a pos econobox that some slimebox dealer put stickers and a wing on and suddenly you think you have a Shelby".

I just hate dealers and their add-on's in general. The one good idea Jaques Nasser had (the only good one and it was killed) was to make all sales via the internet with a fixed price and the dealership would only be a point of delivery and service facility. Just like when you get A plan or a fleet delivery, it is a fixed price and the dealer gets a 200.00 handiling/prep fee.

The only reason the original Taurus in 84 saved Ford's hiney was Red Polling told the dealers "Do not under any circumstances put a Sim-Com top, Wire Wheels or Vogue Tires on the Taurus" " your franchise will be revoked if you do"
