I like my non IUP headrests better. They look old school to me.

Re: IUP vs no IUP
I don't have IUP and didn't want it. I didn't care for the silver colored center console plastic piece or the 4-way adjustable headrests. I did add the bullitt items included in the IUP package that I did like (i.e. shifter trim ring, door locks, pedals, etc.)

Why did you opt NOT for the IUP? This could be a separate thread. I didn't get it because my '03 was 1 of 3 that were left on the lot anywhere close to my dealership when I decided to buy in April of 2004, and all 3 of those cars didn't have IUP either. The 3 color choices I had were yellow, black, and white. Of course, I chose the white, although Azure blue was my first choice, but it just wasn't available so late in the year anywhere near where I worked. I would say, the only piece of the IUP I'd actually like to have are the headrests! Ever try to rest your head against our lousy NON-IUP headrests? You're looking at the roof of the car!

Re: IUP vs no IUP
When I bought mine, the dealer and I did a search to find a SY 5 speed in the Northeast. It didn't really matter if it was IUP or not but I ended up with one. I saw the list and there were only two that did not have IUP. However, there were 3 or 4 autos with non IUP. Pretty rare, not as rare as Oxford White autos with non IUP.

Re: IUP vs no IUP
I finally saw a Mach with NO IUP, it looked to plain to me and the head rests looked none existant compared to the IUP version. IMHO
The other cosmetic changes I think make the car a little more unique beings no other stangs had those options..
