there would always (at least most of the times) trap higher than us, stock vs stock or mod for mod. but you would run a little higher,equal or better et, it would just depends on your driving abilities.

I have raced an 98 Z28 auto and an 2002 Firebird TA auto, both stock and mine having just a short throw steeda triax, I got waxed out the hole by the 98 but passed him in third the driver of the TA sucked out the hole and I waxed him by two car lengths, so definitly drivers race but stock vs stock slight edge to the Mach, the SS is a touch heavier than a Z-28 or TA.

now the mach

I would have bought another camaro if they were still making em but now that I got the mach I like it better.... The camaro stock tho was much louder from the exhaust and a tad faster while racing on the freeway...

It may be a drivers race but the SS is faster....if he launches he wins but they are hard to launch. imo...
