Talking MaCh dood, just in

Hello boys and girls! This is my 3rd Mustang. It replaces an Anniversary Model G.T., and I also had a 2003 Cobra... I am very excited to have my 2004 MaCh 1, and hope to be a fairly active participant, here... This is a car that was owned by Eldo Droptop, and I am currently in the process of making my own changes, and continuing the process that he so adequatly started!!!

Congrats and welcome. You got rid of an 03 Cobra for the Mach or do you still have the Cobra? You don't see people going from a Cobra to a Mach, it is usually the other way around.

Re: MaCh dood, just in

Well, it's a "little more complicated than that"... `ain't it always? The Cobra was a wonderful car. I had some paint flake off the composite hood , and after the body shop funked the paint repair for the second time, I traded it for a 2004 Lightning-my second Lightning experience... I got pretty antsy about 2 big payments-after I puchased my American Ironhorse Outlaw , in June `04, and traded the Lightning in for a Focus Wagon  .....I have had 12 cars/trucks, since 1975..... I traded my Anniversary GT, for my MaCh- when the store I work at, took it as a trade... The difference between the modded MaCh, and mt stock GT, is like night and day!!!!!!!!

Re: MaCh dood, just in

Welcome to the herd. I had a Redfire 03 Cobra prior to getting the Mach1. I wanted the Mach1 because it was like the 70 428CJ Mach1 I owned back in the 70's. Using the same logic, I owned a 66 GT350H for a few months in the early 80's, I should probably get ready to buy a new Shelby GT500. Enjoy the ride and the registry.

Exclamation Re: MaCh dood, just in

Thanks to all who have welcomed me. I just put the stock wheels back on the car, changed the oil, replaced the pinion seal, flushed the cooling system, put 3:55s back in the rear end, and reprogrammed the EEC, to the "3:55 Performance Tune"..... !!
