Squeaky rattle noise.....(best description i can come up with) - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

Are you guys getting this squeaky rattling noise that seems to come from the A/C vents or something. I hear it when driving on an unsmooth road...and i only hear it sometimes....i hear it with the windows up, Music off, and driving normally....it sounds like plastic rubbing against plastic...it sounds with the A/C off too...this same thing happened to me with my old 97 v6....anyone have any idea WTF it is cuz its getting anoying and embarrasing?? thx in advance

I have a rattle in that area that seems to be like the airbag or something. Did it in my 01 know this one. Pisses me off.

I had that in my '00 GT, it was the base of the windshield rubbing against the dash. Dealer used a couple foam pads and some dry lube to fix it.

Yes I have it in that area...To me it seems like the trim on the ac and ac controls. Mine seems to only do it when it's HOT in the car. Someone else posted here that their AC vent in the center was rattling...He popped it out anf fixed it with good ole electrical tape.

What I need and I am looking for is some tape with felpt on one side. We could fix some stuff with that...
