Here's a video with really cruddy sound quality. It wa taken with my camera, instead of MiniDV Camcorder. I'll take better videos (drive by's, off's etc) when I get a chance.

http://www.jdjnet.com/sitestuff/mach...take1_0001.wmv

Be kind to be server, please. It may be a bit slow. (3 megs or so d/l)

I see they changed their tips from when I had mine. They now include the raised logo. Nice!

I like the way it sounds. it's much louder outside the car, then inside ... Which is good, since this is my daily driver!

Fairly quiet at idle INSIDE -- outside, it has that burble a lot of people (myself included) like. When you really open it up, sounds like NASCAR.

I'm really happy with the choice.

I'm sure it'd get louder with hi-flo H-w/cat or X w/cat, and REALLY loud if the cats where gone. I'm leaving the stock for now.

Had them on mine, but changed them out to Magnaflow's due to the increase in inside noise with the hi flow X

No problem. At first I didn't much like they stuck a little further out then stock. However, I now kinda like it. Looks a little more muscular.

Also, they do sound good, sorry for the bad sound quality, but you get the idea

And, I wanted to leave stock H for now, until I build a repoir with my service guys (who happen to sponser the MCA here in nashville) ... and make sure they are MOD friendly.

Hopefully I can find a mustang in Seattle area and hear it in person.

I was on eBay last night generally browsing Mustangs things (and Mustangs). The wife asks "what are you looking at?" .. I told her I was looking for her Mother's Day present ...

She didn't laugh ... Even though I thought it was funny.

Jeffery, you can actually adjust the tips in further I figured out AFTER I did the install. If you un-bolt the clamps and the good stuff the pipes can be adjust inward more.

Thumbs up That makes it look enticing to me!

I don't need to see what color the Mach is to appreciate a good exhaust. I can't wait to get a set on my Mach!
Enjoy them! I certainly enjoyed hearing your video. Crude maybe worth the download time 'priceless'

My DynoButt isn't the most accurate. It says it feels a bit better down-low. Could be all placebo, though.

So, no numbers yet. I did it MOSTLY for the sound, but also because I had to start somewhere!

Talking I think there more at the bottom...

Got my Borlas on yesterday....and I did have the battery unhooked for over an hour while they were being installed. Right out of the shop, the difference was very noticable...it was like the engine could breath much better (besides the awsome racket from the pipes The pull seemed to be more powerful, like it had more torque. Now this is only my impression, but if I had to "guess" I'd estimate that it picked up maybe 20 HP and about 20-30 ft-lb of torque.

Before anyone goes railing off....understand that this is my estimated feeling of a before and after, and i am trying to be honestly objective. IT FEELS as if it has picked up this amount. Its what I feel, not what is actual, cause I ain't dynoed the sucker yet

At any rate, in conclusion.....it woke up this pony 4 sure (and the car as well)

Rock on dudies

My DynoButt agrees. Kinda what I felt (maybe not to the same affect). In other words, I'm not sure I'd put quiet those high of numbers with it, but it SEEMED to be enough for me to notice, though.

I put mine on today finally. Didn't disconnect the battery. At first I couldn't feel any difference. After 75 miles or so, I can now say it made a deffinate difference! Mostly feel it down low, feels like it has more torque on tap. With OD on cruising it seems to pick up speed more easily. Just as one person put it above, it seems like the car can breath better. Dyno to come soon.... and the sound is freakin' awesome. I have some videos to post, even one of what it sounds like with no cat back, just the H pipe. Surprisingly it wasn't all that loud with the 4 cats...

Oh yeah, I cut my pipes. I was all set to pull them out in one piece, but as I lay there looking at it all I just decided that I didn't want to mess with all the extra hassle unbolting the rear. I did make some reference marks where I cut so I can weld it back up if I ever want to go back to stock.

Jeffrey, In case you were curious what the system looks like with the tail pipes in further, like the OEM setup. Mine also doesn't have the raised Borla logo. But then I bought/installed my system back in Dec. '03.
