Took the Mach 1 on a little trip
I got the Mach 1 out and took it down to Las Vegas to watch the drag racing. I usually put 1k miles a year on it so it was nice to take it on a little road trip with my wife. I visited the famous street racing spot, got pics on Azure street and got some evening pics and desert night pics. I enjoyed the car a lot yesterday.

Re: Took the Mach 1 on a little trip
Thanks everyone. I daily drive a supercharged and built Bullitt and my Mach 1 and terminator are garage queens. I put roughly 1k miles on the Mach 1 each year which wasn't my plan when I bought it. I was going to daily drive it but now every time I take it out, its special. This was a great time to get out and enjoy the car. It runs like its brand new. Its nice to get a car out that will stay in this condition forever at the rate I enjoy it.

Re: Took the Mach 1 on a little trip
Nice, just drove cross country with the family from San Diego back to NC...eventually on to Virginia. We did a National Park - Griswald Vacation trip, up to Grand Canyon, then Yellowstone, then Mt Rushmore. Beautiful scenery along the way, stuff I had only ever seen in pictures or in the movies.
Didnt drive the Mach though, it got shipped. It wouldnt have been the most comfortable in the Mach with 2 adults and 3 kids....doubt we would have made it 100 miles before kids killed each other. |

Re: Took the Mach 1 on a little trip
Great looking A/B and nice photos. What tires are you running, I can see Goodyear up front but not the model, GSD3 is my guess, but interested to know. Especially since you are running three of the most desirable New Edges, and pretty close to the most desirable Fords ever produced.

I have quite a variety of tires and I really dont mind the brand except for the rears. On the Mach 1 I have Goodyear Eagle ZR45 on the front and Nitto 555's onthe rear. The bullitt Has BFGoodrich on the front and Mickey thompson Street Comps on the rear, and My Cobra has Sumitomo's on the front and Mickey Thompson ET streets on the rear. I prefer Mickey Thompson Drag radials on the rear but if I do a lot of driving I will use any tire basically.
