Finally fed up...
I haven't been able to drive the Mach reliably for some time now, and I miss it. My daily is fine, but boring in comparison.
This leads to my question... I am having issues somewhere in the electrical system of the vehicle and typically the simplest fix is checking the body grounds. That said, save for a couple, I don't know where they are. Does anyone have a diagram or at least a description of the body ground locations? I plan on removing them, cleaning the area, replacing the ring, reinstalling, and then rustproof painting over them.

Re: Finally fed up...
If it's blowing the big 30 amp fuse to the PCM in the fuse box by the battery ( I believe it's number 25 or 26), then check the noise suppressors at the back of each cylinder head. The one on my passenger side had came unplugged and every time I tried to start the car it would blow that fuse. I just pushed on the connector and it clicked back into place and it hasn't done it since. * knock on wood * Doing a search here, I found one other guy who this happened to, except his was on the driver side. Such a weird thing to just happen...
I couldn't even get mine to start for atleast a month. So I know the frustration you're feeling.

Maybe I've missed other posts but what exactly is it doing?

My issue is that when driving, the gauges will randomly cut out and, while I can't remember the code populated, all signs pointed to ground issues.

Re: Finally fed up...
I have no idea how many grounds there are in the system but I know a few
1) driver side engine block to frame, attaches at the motor mount and goes up to the frame rail near the sway bar mount I do believe. 2) there are 2 grounds on the radiator support next to the battery 3) Im pretty sure there is a ground point behind the pass kick panel by the pcm/ecu I cant remember if theres a ground to the engine block over by the starter or not. Id have to imagine theres more but thats all I know of right off hand. Outside of the engine block stuff grounding bolts are typically identified because theyve been coated a green color
