Update on my 03 DSG..New wheel setup/Tune..

So my good buddy Kevin (Vndcatr) hooked me up with a tune tonight,he uses the PRP SCT program and dialed my Mach in with a solid tune and I must say she's Haulin the mail! Super smooth idle and cruising,WOT is night and day from my "canned" tune..Its his first time giving it a shot but he def knows the program and what he's doing thanks again Kevin! Also got rid of my AFS 03's and picked up gloss black 17" Fr500 staggered..315 Goodyear eagle ss dr's..

Looks good! Like the stance a lot. Where'd you find goodyear drag radials?

I want to say Goodyear discontinued their drag radial line.

That's what I thought. Was surprised not only to see them still on a car but to hear that they have enough "goody" left in them that they'll hook.

Got a pic of the tread pattern? They look like slicks from the pics. Lol

Tires are in great shape in my opinion, not any cracks or quarter panel lip scars at all and atleast 60% tread life left...love the tread pattern!

Re: Update on my 03 DSG..New wheel setup/Tune..

The PRP software is very user friendly, not hard to use at all especially when you have a good concept of how these cars work already,Kevin dialed it in safely off the base tune the PRP software provides already for the 03/04 Machs and added his preference when it came to the timing/fuel and parameters..My car runs amazing been driving it 3-4 days now and I couldn't be happier with the tune the power just pours on in every gear and the car has exhaust and intake only...I'm sure the numbers the track produce will back it up,confident with 430s and bigs and littles, she will go low 12s close to 110mph no long tubes..I can honestly say the car pulls alot better than my 99 cobra and that car went 12.50s@106,sra swap,355 gears,x pipe, catback and control arms, stock intake..

99 cobra track pass..

Luckily hes a good friend, and i didnt go too crazy on it..I can make any tune for ZYA2 pcm's and he just happend to have one I had 2 tunes made up for my Mach setup (boosted, cammed e85) setup but never got the chance to run them. So even though it had been a while, i somewhat knew my way around the PRP software..Also on a bolt on car, when you start out with a tune your really just making edits and adjustments to the stock tune file. Also, SCT does a great job with their stored value files. plus i have friends and my cobra that i can use for practice and get more familiar with tuning..

And the car looks tits on the FR's and 315s..

That's true, it's a bolt-on car. I'm sure you did good... and I wasn't doubting your knowledge about the car either, I would have said that for ANYBODY trying to create a custom tune for the first time!
