Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...
One of our members is no longer with us. Nick McKinney has unfortunately passed. I have very few details on this as I only saw it in passing on a friend's page, but they were close friends, so I'd imagine its credible information...

Re: Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...
I saw something as well, apparently self inflicted. I met him a few years back when he installed/degreed my cams, seemed like a nice guy.
depression/mental issues are definitely a hell of a thing, feel awful for his family

I was not sure how accurate that was and didn't want to spread misinformation, but that is what I saw as well...

Wow, very sad to hear that. Never had the pleasure to meet him, but I've been on quite a few forums he also posted on and he was an incredibly knowledgeable person. Hate to hear about these kind of things.

Re: Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...
wow...seeing him pass...that is horrible and if it was self inflicted that is worse. I know Nick (modular head shop) sold to excessive...I hope his family is strong and I will send out my prayers to them. this is a tough business to be in and worse if you get a pickle and behind. I can remember a LOT of people bitching of him taking a LONG time to finish stuff up. I don't know the facts around him taking own life but I hope it wasn't over that....
