WTB Mach 1 Auto - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

I have $16k and I'm looking for a CLEAN Mach 1 under 26k miles. It might be a long shot, but here's what I am looking for...

1. Stock or close to it as possible (engine wise)
2. Oxford White, DSG, CO or Black. I will consider TR and AB as well.
3. Auto. No 5spd

It must be clean and I am not interested in anything that's remotely beat on.

We have a DSG with 5k on it but $15k isn't gonna get it.

Just from the hip I'd have to say 20, it's actually my daughters car but she isn't showing any intrest in it.

Last I knew there was one in Moorsville, NC. Torch Red with about 40k on it. I drove the car and it's pretty nice.

I figured, lol. But it's only a matter of time before I find exactly what I'm looking for. I see a bunch of them under 25k miles, but they're all manual trans!

I would find it hard to turn down one with 40k miles, if I was looking for one with less than 25k and it had everything else that I'm looking for. It would be more likely to find one with less than 1k miles than one with 25k miles on a 13 year old car.

I saw a practically NEW 03 DSG Mach 1 with ONLY 57 miles

sell for $18,600. That about a deal of a life time, lol.

Most of the ones I've seen listed with less than 5k miles, auto or manual, have been up higher than $20k. I'll post links if I see anything worth a look.

That may be the eBay disaster that a few were chatting about on here. There's a reason why it only went for $18.6. Aside from being an automatic, look at the rear window louvers and all of the goofy emblems slapped all over it. Makes you wonder what else has been tweaked.

That's the one I was referring to. Wasn't sure why they had the GT emblems on the decklid panel and the rear Mach 1 emblems on the fender next to the 40th Anniv. badges. Regardless, looks like it was a pretty great deal all around assuming there's nothing wrong w/ the car!
