my 1 year celebrations - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

Well for me the 4th of July is celebrated for being sober for one year,
I'm very happy with myself and life has been a lot better, but anyone who has dealt with a drinking problem knows it is not easy to stay away from. I love beer but I am unable to just drink a couple and call it a day, so I keep myself away from it. Thanks be to God for the help I needed to stay sober.

Congrats, Ash. You've had an interested few years since you joined the registry. I have been amazed with how you handled it. I honestly don't think I could have kept it together as well as you have and it seems like everything is moving in the right direction. Keep your faith as it is our best guide.

I saw in a thread you are heading for NJ. Where, when, and how? Depending on how you come up you won't be that far from me. Maybe get together for dinner one night if you have time.

We got here yesterday in Flemington NJ for a few days
Buddy we are amazed at how much we can handle, I went down and had to have help getting back up and the only one to do that for me was God. I say God is the leader of my life now and that is the amazing thing that we all have a free choice to either allow Him to lead or not. I'm not going to push anything I believe down anyone, all my part is to do is tell about Him and let Him control my life. If I do and know I can rely on Him to get me through anything and I can not do anything without Him.
