275/60r15 Drag Radial Question!
Hello,
Anybody running a 28" tire without rolled fenders? I have Race star 15x10 with a Hoosier 275 wide 28" tall DOT drag radial. I put the tires on the car and jacked the rear end up to the bump stop without the springs in to see if the tires would touch the fenders. I have maybe a 1/3 inch of clearance from the tire and the fender. Again this is without springs. My worry is if the tires grow or anything as I go down the track, I don't want them to hit the fender. Looking for advice on people who have run 275/60r15 tire! Thanks

Re: 275/60r15 Drag Radial Question!
Man thats not much space.
I have ran the 275x60x15 mt dr a 28x10.5 slick and a 295x45x17 with out a problem but non of those were on the race star. What is the back spacing on those rims? Have any friends with a fender roller? |

Re: 275/60r15 Drag Radial Question!
I was planning on buying one. Eastwood has one for 150 bucks. I believe the back spacing is 6.5 on those rims. I had 450 lbs in the trunk and that pushed the car to the bump stop practiacally so I think I am going to have to roll them.

Thats why you take the back seat out. Loose a bunch of weight and dont have to worry about giving rides
