Track Day!

I took the Mach out to MSR Houston for a Charity even this last Sat. A blast to be sure with a wide vareity of cars (lemons neon, toyota 4-runner, civic si, another mustang, a few porsches, a jaguer, some corvettes, two GTR's, etc.). Four track sessions with passing allowed in the straights.

It's the first time I've had the Mach 1 out on the track with the new Vintage Venom F14 kit. WOW, great kit. Too great though. No ABS plus this kit equals a whole lot of front tires locking up in dry, mildly hot track temps. I guess it's one of those never ending mod cases. Next up is better tires to help get more braking capability. Then fix the ABS. If still no dice, perhaps a proportioning valve. It is indeed never ending!

A few years ago. Cleaned the sensors at each corner but I suppose it could be a bad sensor. Never had a big issue without it though so never did anything about it. The upgrade and track day has changed my opinion though.

Re: Track Day!

Very nice brake setup. I'm jealous.
