Congrats! Looks like it was well cared for.

Congrats, but remember, the best boat is someone else's boat.

Actually not naming it is bad luck. It took my brother-in-law two jet pumps and an engine to finally understand that. It now has a name and a nasty blown 454.

Congrats on the purchase Jeff.

Gotta done something about that 305 though. I know they are really good engines but it just doesn't fit your stable. I'd say it is the black horse but your Mach already holds that title.

Planning on Raystown or the river?

It will have a name..still considering options. Since I'm a Penn Stater, one I thought of was Miss Nittany. I've asked Rachel and Sue to give it some thought too.

I do have a 351 sitting in the garage...

It'll be a lake boat. Raystown and up to New Hampshire for summer vacation.

Nice, saw a name on a boat the other day called "Plan B", kinda liked that. Good luck with the naming.

Re: So I went out and bought a new toy...

Mounted the spare tire a little better than it had previously been mounted:

I also added interior lighting to the boat, re-mounted the battery and replaced the battery cables.

The boat had been sitting for a number of years, so I also dropped the lower unit and put a new impeller in for good measure.

Now I just need spring to arrive.....

wow that looks awesome man, looks really well cared for. This is the time to buy to cause the people who are on the edge about selling just don't want to take care of it anymore. Great looking boat man. have fun with it.
