Thumbs up

Kevin,

Looks great! I really like the way it turned out - congrats man. I also have a 2003 Torch Red and have been thinking about painting the hood the same way. What kind of paint did you use? Is it flat black? Again, very nice - enjoy.

Its a standard black with a low gloss clear on it(clear mixed with a flattening agent).

Best looking after-market paint job on a Mach so far. The black looks really good. Not too glossy.

I really like that paint on the hood. That's the way it should have been done if they were to follow the 69 Mach. The 70 Mach has the stripe down the center like we have. It would have been good if the 03's were painted with the hood like that and the 04's had the stripe and the honeycomb panels. Talk about retro!

That looks great! I have been thinking about doing that, the small hood stripe just doesn't do the car justice in my opinion.

Nice job, I really like it. InDShadow had a great idea... the '03s and '04s following the '69 and '70 stripe scheme!

I had the hood painted and the section of the rear bumper for $200. That was a steal compared to some of the other places i went to first. :HOPPY:
