Re: Tubular K Member suggestions
I have a UPR and I can tell you it definitely makes life easy for those of us who do a lot of the work ourselves with a race car.

Re: Tubular K Member suggestions
For the average person/modder...Racecraft isn't a good choice, IMO. They make some very nice (the best really) stuff.
I think the best options, for a non-road racer - and a non "hardcore" drag-racer are, Team Z and PA Racing. Team Z's K-Member, drops the rack down over an inch....so you will need offset rack bushings ($11). |

Re: Tubular K Member suggestions
I had the only PA Racing K-Member they made WRONG.
I called and told them it doesnt fit and at first he thought I ws a toolbag on the other end of the phone. I sent it back and sure as ****, WRONG. However, he handled it like a pro and sent me another and paid for shipping both ways. I had a QA1 on there 1st and liked it better, but I had the wrong control arms to retain the stock wheel offset, so I went with the PA. |

Re: Tubular K Member suggestions
Do you want to retain your stock shocks and springs or are you going with coilovers ?

Re: Tubular K Member suggestions
I did forget to mention that i'd like to retain stock control arms & springs then convert to coilovers down the road. Most K members I researched accept stock control arms with a little grinding on the ends around the bushings.

Have installed upr, team z , racecraft, aje, and mm.
For wt and price I like upr. For quality I like mm and team z. Al subjective of course. I really font think you can go wrong with any of them. I know teamz haz a road race tubular k but don't know anyone who has used it. |

Re: Tubular K Member suggestions
Installed UPR K member with coil overs and new control arms and tie rod ends. Pretty happy over all, also need 4 bolt caster camber plates which I also installed. No issues with anything, I did all mine while engine was out of the car, also alot more room to access header bolts and other things the old K hides.
