03 Mach 1 DSG Feeler.

Few years ago i purchased a 2003 DSG Auto. The owner before me was doing something weird with it. Gt rims, Roush gauge cluster.cobra spoiler..etc.I gota ok deal hoping to fix her back up to Mach 1 standards. Two months after buying the car.. The tranny stopped shifting into OD. Drives fine till you turn the OD button on. Shes just under 80k miles. And Due to getting married and trying to move.. Im wondering how much i could get out of her...Anyone got a clue or willing to give a offer?

Few pics in my album.

Re: 03 Mach 1 DSG Feeler.

Seems like he probably just took the Mach 1 parts off he liked and put them on another Mustang he had.

I like the C&L tube with the steeda intake setup. And strut tower brace.

You could get a set of mach rims used, then a grille delete. And it would look a lot more authentic. I'd post it for 10k and see what you get offered.

grille delete is $100
you can get a set of used mach rims for a few $100
gauge cluster doesn't matter
stock spoiler is cheap

I said post it for 10k and see what you get offered. Probably a few $k less. I didn't say it was worth 10k.

gauge cluster would matter to a buyer like me. What is the new cluster going to cost and then to reprogram it to show the real mileage? stock mach wheels with good tires wont be had for less than 500-600 bucks for oem wheels. Its not just the spoiler that is not the original trunk lid. So drill your holes and fill the cobra wing holes. Wont be cheap after paint. PLUS a busted trans which is about 2 grand to fix after parts and labor. If you factor in the time it takes to fix it, plus you wouldn't want to do all that work to end up spending the same as one that came perfect from the start.

5K is a fair offer. friend of mine bought his DSG two years ago; car had 60k miles and alot of bolt on's. when he test drove the car i drove fine, it smoked a little, but again it was drivable. he paid 6k for it. this was two years ago.

mach's dont sell for what they used to. hell i paid 10k for my TR mach with only 48k miles, and it needed/needs nothing.

Re: 03 Mach 1 DSG Feeler.

OMG! Im sorry I haven't responded.. just got busy with stuff..and basically forgot i posted ... lol

Honestly I was looking for 8-9k...but it seems I am WAY off. lol.

I had no idea Machs were going as cheap as 5-6k..Almost brings a tear to my eye.

For that kinda cash I must say she will be staying with me for the time being.

Working on a new job atm, and with the new pay I hope to have anuff to toss some new rims on the Mach. And maybe even get the tranny worked on.

But right now..down payment on a house is number 1 on the list... =(
