Finally a garage
Well I've owned my Mach since Aug of 03 and I finally have a garage to keep her in. Its been a long time coming now I can give her the detail job she deserves. I also probably register her as a collectors car now and save some **** money on insurance. I've been putting it off for a while, but I'll have to get my certificate of Authenticity from Ford as well.

Re: Finally a garage
Not that bad really the paint is in very good condition hardly faded at all. I think one of the factors that helped is that its prior parking spot was under cover of trees, so the car hardy every saw direct sunlight. Same goes for the interior its not faded a tad only a few wrinkles on the front seats. After a good wash the car doesn't look much different than when it was new.

Re: Finally a garage
congrats! I know I was happy as hell to finally get one, mine sat out infront of the apartment with no shade and loads of sulfur in the sprinkler water you couldnt avoid.
It would be a perfect time to look into a buffer kit with pads a polished to do a full on detail

Re: Finally a garage
I had withdrawal symptoms when I started putting mine in a garage. I missed having to wash my car every week. Washing the car was therapeutic / relaxing to me. Still is. Something about putting a little wax on a fender.

Re: Finally a garage
I don't mind washing a car, but there is something horrible about scrubing it one day and then watching a random thunder storm roll in and ruin all your hard work the next.

Re: Finally a garage
Agreed. I don't enjoy my Mach anymore than right after its been washed. Infact, when I start getting down on my car, for whatever reason, if I wash it I'm right back in love. That's all I have to do to convince myself to keep it is to see it sitting there all detailed in its awesomeness.
