Having trouble with PS lines

hey guys,

im trying to finish up my procharger build and ran into an issue with setting up the Power steering lines/cooler with the new addition of the intercooler.

The piping now gets in the way of the lines to their old mounting.

ANy advice or tips folks???

You can either extend the lines and mount the PS cooler in front of the intercooler or do as i did and get rid of the PS cooler. I cut the front "U" shaped part off of the PS Cooler and just zip tied it in place near the side of the intercooler with the PS lines clamped to it so PS is not affected. Works good so far after about 3000 miles (+/-)

Re: Having trouble with PS lines

go the autoparts store

get some extra PS hose (2-3 feet will leave plenty to spare) MAKE SURE WHAT THEY GIVE YOU WONT BE EATEN/ROTTED BY THE PS FLUID!

go to the air tools section, grab 2 3/8 (i think thats the right size) air line couplers (theyre brass with the barbs) and 4 small hose clamps.

If you dont wanna loose as much PS steering fluid pick up 4 liquid line clamps (Harbor freight has em, I bought 2 sets of different sizes for under $20). Bleeding the system later isnt hard though and youre still gonna have to do it either way....

remove the rubber hose from the cooler so you can position is where you want to, I added the hose and ran it over the top of the piping to the intercooler.
