Which Sending Unit to use? - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

I installed a Kurgan fuel hat in my Mach as part of a power adder upgrade. I bought a fuel sending unit for an 03 cobra. I took the guts out of my stock tank so everything would fit nicely. Now my gauge on the dash is very erratic. I am also concerned about the accuracy of the sending unit since the float arm is different from the stock one. Any ideas?
