New Ford Emblem
So I got bored tonight and decided to mess with my Ford Badge. I hate having blue on my car, so I decided to go with the red and black since everything else on the car is red and black. After a few hours of work, this is what I got. Sorry the picture looks like crap, iPhone is not the best camera. It looks kind of fuzzy since it is blown up, but looks cleaner in person. Thoughts?

Re: New Ford Emblem
It was pretty easy. Heres a rough description of how I did it:
-First I just popped the emblem apart so that the silver base and the plastic blue Ford emblem were seperate. -Then I sanded all of the blue paint off of the back of the emblem using 3 different grits of sand paper working from roughest to finest. -Once all of the blue paint was sanded off, I used rubbing compound and plastic polish to get the plastic back to being transparent and get rid off the scrathces from being sanded. -I used an exacto knife to scrape all of the silver paint out of the indented "Ford" lettering (this was the biggest PITA, and I want to find a better way to do it next time. I think im going to make another one and see if I can find a better way to do it) -Once there was no silver left I just painted the lettering black and once it dried I sprayed the rest of the emblem red and the base black. I used emblem glue to put the pieces back together and now its ready for installation
