What Gauges

What gauges would you guys recommend for a eaton swapped mach.

I need to pick some out and needed a couple suggestions on what to look for.

Thanks M1R

Re: What Gauges

i just ordered a boost gauge and steering wheel column mount. went with the Sport Comp Series, mechanical -30/+20 boost/vac. of all the pics i've seen on here i think it looks the best in a Mach.

next i might order the cluster mount and get a fuel pressure gauge and something else. we'll see though. i might be happy with just the boost gauge.

Re: What Gauges

I don't have one yet, but the Aeroforce Interceptor is what I'll be getting. HTP Motorsports on here sells them at a discounted price for us. To me, less is more sometimes especially when it comes to gauges that can clutter up the clean look of our interiors. The Interceptor will monitor/display nearly everything you'll need with a single gauge. Can even set it to use as a shift light.

Re: What Gauges

Im running areoforce interceptor's on my mach with nitrous and they are hands down the best iv ever had.......i know they are expensive butttttt they are super easy to install and the parameters i can keep an eye on with my two dual scans would take an cabin full of "regular"gauges. Interceptors all the way!

Sport Comp II boost and fuel pressure with a plx wideband on the steering column. Not the best pics but the sport comps match the factory gauges pretty good, just have to do the led bulbs on the stock gauges becuase the autometer gauges are so bright.

and the final product

Re: What Gauges

from everything ive read so far, mechanical is better for the boost gauge, electrical is better for fuel pressure and most of the other common ones. mechanical is supposed to be easier to install and more accurate for measuring boost, plus it's way cheaper.

my sport comp II boost gauge and steering column mount arrived today, so hopefully this weekend i can post a pic of it installed.

Yeah go with mechanical boost, I have electronic fuel pressure but they make a mechanical one that is cheaper you just have to buy a separate fuel line kit that keeps all the fuel out of the cabin, electrical is a lot easier to install for fuel

Re: What Gauges

finally got this thing on. the sport comp II looks pretty good to me! the mount isn't EXACTLY a factory match, but it's not a big deal. also, it slides over the existing steering column. when i bought it, i thought it replaced the piece where the hazard light button is, but it just snaps over.

The gauge pod is paintable, buy a can of interior spray paint from late model resto and it will match perfect
